The Federation was set up to promote and assist with the study and recording of the history, antiquities and folk-life of Ulster, to develop communication and co-operation between local historical groups and between these groups and relevant statutory and voluntary organisations. The Federation's major Documents - the Articles of Association and its Audited Accounts, Membership and insurance forms are available and there is an outline of the Federation's Public Liability Insurance policy. The papers and minutes of General Meetings are here as are copies of the Federation's regular Newsletter. On the Members page there is a full list of member Societies, with contact details. Information about past and current journals, including availability, is on the Publications pages. Details of member Societies own journals and other publications that are available for sale are listed, with contact information, for anyone interested in purchasing. The Federation's periodical Newsletters are available to read. The Links page provides access to member Societies' own websites as well as to other useful sources. There are separate pages for Federation Events and Societies Events. Societies are encouraged to submit their annual programmes for display.
